Simon & Jude Preliminaries

Chester County Voices rolled out its 2010 program at our annual departure concert before a packed house on Friday, June 18th. The concert went off without a hitch and the large crowd was very appreciative. All that's left now is our Father's Day 10:30 Mass at Simon and Jude.

I'll be checking my list and packing it twice tonight. Tomorrow, there will be a short bus ride to Newark, then a very long flight to Frankfurt and then to Toulouse. Soon we'll be in the Grotto in Lourdes for the experience of a lifetime.

Approaching the Finish Line

I suppose we could more accurately say that we're approaching the starting line. Only finishing touches on our liturgical program and the annual day long workshop remain before our farewell concert and our departure for France. The last six months have been long but productive, and we are almost ready to try out our repertoire in front of a live audience. There are several new beautiful pieces that I'm really anxious to hear!
